About Carol’s Candles & Gifts

Hi, I’m Carol, and I’ve always been happiest when my hands are busy making something lovely out of simple, everyday things. Give me wax, fabric, a bit of fragrance oil or thread, and I’ll disappear into my little creative world for hours.

I still remember the excitement of my very first candle-making kit when I was about 19. I opened the box and thought, “I can actually make this myself?” From that moment, I was hooked. Since then, I’ve poured candles and tea lights in all sorts of shapes and scents, sewn squishy cushions, and tried more crafty experiments than I can count.

In June 2020, I decided to be brave and share my creations with the world by opening an Etsy shop. That little step turned into a whole new adventure. I’ve been busy ever since, hand-pouring beautiful candles and creating wax melts that are designed to bring warmth, comfort, and a bit of everyday magic into your home.

In 2022, my curiosity tugged me in a new direction, and I began experimenting with soap making. It’s been messy, colourful, and so much fun, and it fits perfectly alongside my love of fragrance and cosy, handmade treats.

Carol’s Candles & Gifts is my little corner of the world where all of this creativity comes together. Every candle, wax melt, and soap is made by hand, in small batches, with care and attention to the tiny details. When you bring one of my pieces into your home, I want you to feel the same warmth and joy I feel while making it.

Thank you for being here and for supporting a maker at heart. If you’d like to see what I’ve been working on, please take a wander through my shop and discover the full range of goodies waiting for you. And if you have a question, an idea, or just want something a little bit special, I’d love to hear from you — feel free to get in touch any time.
